The ability to use layers to combine images together (compositing) is what distinguishes Photoshop from Lightroom. In this tutorial, I start by showing you how a relatively complex composite is built, then show you how to build a simple composite of your own, in slowed-down follow-along format. Practical use of selection tools and layer masks is clearly described. Note that Select and Mask has replaced Refine Edge in older versions of Photoshop, but they work the same way.
