However, if you’ve never used a tripod, it might confuse you. This video is here to help. I not only show you how to mount a camera on a tripod, but I also talk through the parts of a tripod. There are many different tripods, all with various mounting systems and features. I only cover two types of tripod mounts in this video: cheaper, plastic mounts, and the more professional Arca Swiss mounts. During the video, I offer a tip for screwing tripod mounts onto your camera. It’s frustrating when your camera comes loose on the tripod when you’re filming or photographing.
