In this Week 5 training of my 90 Day Pet Creator Challenge, I’m breaking down the real reason your YouTube views feel stuck—and it’s not that you’re “failing” or the algorithm is out to get you. I explain the YouTube growth curve and why that slow, quiet phase at the beginning is literally normal, especially if you’re brand new. Most creators see 12, 25, 60 views and assume it’ll never change, but YouTube works differently than Instagram or TikTok: it studies you, analyzes you, and decides when it can trust you. I share the stats that changed how I view growth: 60–80% of views come from videos that are 30–180 days old, and it’s normal to hit ~1,000 views on a long-form video somewhere between video 10 and video 30. That’s why I push long-form in this challenge—one long-form video at 1,000 views can be the equivalent impact of 20–30 shorts at 1,000 views. Then I give you tangible next steps: improve titles/thumbnails to lift CTR (I’ve seen 10%+ gains), use your analytics to fix retention, and keep engineering your identity so you stay consistent long enough to reach the acceleration phase.
