Is this the future of road bikes? Today I’m taking a first look at the all-new Scott Addict- a bike that sits in a really interesting place inside Scott’s lineup. It’s not the super aero Foil. It’s not the Addict RC, do-it-all race weapon. This one is different… and maybe more relevant for how most of us actually ride. I call it a “modern road bike,” and after digging into the frame design, geometry, tire clearance, carbon layups, and real-world features, it really feels like they’re trying to redefine what a road bike should be in 2026.
