Bigscreen Beyond 2
Bigscreen Beyond 2 is one of the most mind-bending VR upgrades I’ve tried, and it’s almost entirely because of the lenses. It’s insanely light, now has adjustable IPD, and the optics are clearer with less chromatic aberration than anything else I’ve used—especially noticeable in sim racing where immersion lives or dies on consistency.

Pros

- +Wider FOV than headsets I’ve tested (including Quest 3 feel)
- +Incredibly light (110g goggles, ~270g all-in)
- +Adjustable IPD (no longer locked to a face scan)
- +Stays planted on the face, keeping focus consistent
- +OLED panels with strong contrast and low eye fatigue in long sessions
Cons
- -No display spec bump over the original Beyond (same micro-OLED)
- -75Hz native / 90Hz upscaled may not satisfy refresh-rate chasers
- -Still not fully edge-to-edge FOV (visible peripheral black edges)
- -Loses on raw specs to higher-end options like Pimax Crystal Light
