The 9070 is actually pretty close to the RTX 5070 at 1440p, and in most games it was ahead by around 5–10%, with a big standout in Red Dead Redemption 2. But I still don’t recommend it, because spending a bit more on the 9070 XT gets you a much better deal overall. Unless pricing shifts hard, the non-XT just gets overshadowed.
