In this video I tested the brand-new Minimax AI Agent and gave my honest rundown of what it can do right now—especially since anyone can register on their demo site and start with free credits. I first looked at what other people have built with it, and it’s honestly pretty versatile: PowerPoint-style presentations, data collection from websites and markets, simple fan sites, blog-style layouts, and even niche projects like a Pokédex. The interfaces and layouts people are generating aren’t too shabby in my opinion, and the Tesla stock analysis example with charts was one of the coolest demos I’ve seen so far. Then I ran a few of my own prompts on the free plan. I asked it to scan my website and do an SEO analysis, and it came back with a solid high-level audit—missing meta descriptions, social tags, header hierarchy issues, no structured data, and load speed problems. It’s not a super detailed page-by-page breakdown, but it’s enough to give you real next steps. I also cover the credit system and pricing (you get 1,000 credits, roughly around four tasks), and I explain my main limitation: I personally want an AI agent that can promote my content on social platforms, and Minimax can’t do that yet because it doesn’t have access to Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/LinkedIn APIs.
