Brewing The Oxo Rapid Brewer a la Lance Hedrick (with Fig Bread) - CQA 456

Our exploration of the @oxo Rapid Brewer continues. This time we're going to try a recipe from @LanceHedrick - I don't know what it's called but it uses a 1:17 ratio, so let's see what's what. BTW, if you know of an Oxo recipe we haven't tried, let me know about it in the comments and we'll work it into the series. LH Rapid Brew Recipe Weigh 15 grams of sorta kinda medium ground coffee (perhaps slightly coarser than you would use for a v60 pour over). Place one @AeroPressCoffeeMaker filter in lower chamber of Rapid Brewer then add ground coffee (no tamp). Add 45ml of hot water, wait 30 seconds and add water to bring total water volume to 250ml (this will almost certainly overfill the stock Rapid Brewer Carafe so use a larger vessel). Screw on upper pump chamber. At 1:30 use light pumps to push water through coffee. Total brew time will be about 2 minutes.
