In this week’s “what I wore” I’m sharing a proper round-up of the elevated everyday winter outfits I actually reached for across the week—easy, chic, and very December-in-Manchester. The vibe is simple: great outerwear, wide-leg denim, a few polished accessories, and shoes that make the outfit feel “done” without being impractical. If you’re in that in-between space of wanting to look put-together but still comfy for errands, meetings, and general life, this is exactly that kind of edit. I take you through each day’s look and how I styled it, from a brown faux fur coat moment with dark wide-leg jeans and heeled ankle boots, to a more structured black coat with a grey jumper and trainers for a clean, city-ready silhouette. Midweek I leaned into a slightly dressier combo with a khaki cropped trench, black mini skirt and knee boots (very easy way to make winter outfits feel less samey). Then I finished with a brown herringbone bomber and straight-leg trousers—classic, warm, and really wearable. Everything is linked so you can recreate the outfits or just use them as inspo.
