About This Video

Yes, people, we are back. In this video Fiona and I are going over my pocket EDC—everyday carry—meaning what I keep in my pockets at all times, pretty much no matter where I’m going. I walk through my wallet setup first: a Hide and Drink leather canvas wallet that holds the normal stuff like credit cards, hunting license, and health insurance, plus one of those little “survival credit cards” with a saw, blade, ruler, and wrench cutouts. And right in the zip pocket, I keep a tiny first aid kit—antiseptic, safety pins, band-aids, and even a little burn cream—sealed up in a small plastic bag. Then I get into the tools I actually lean on day to day. I keep a pry bar in my wallet for a reason—because I’ve seen too many knife blades snapped trying to pry something loose. I also carry a Leatherman Rev multi-tool with pliers, wire cutters/strippers, screwdrivers, a file, and a can opener, plus a small knife sharpener, fingernail clippers, and a precision screwdriver set for things like fixing my glasses. And yes, there’s a Bic lighter in the mix as a backup—because if you’ve watched my fire starting video, you already know a lighter won’t always save you. Simple, compact, and built for real-life use, not just looking cool in your pocket.
