In “Even Couple - There’s Hope,” I’m speaking straight to the person who feels like they’re at the end of the road—hanging on a thread, feeling like there’s no way out. I wrote this one from a real place: depression is real, and sometimes people get so low they start thinking about a suicide note. In the song, I’m calling out how easy it is for the world to judge, and how we act like we don’t know the difference between people who look “good” on paper and people who are broke or broken inside. What we really need to do is show love—and pray that God will make a way. I also tell a story about loss and pressure—watching a world collide when her daddy died, trying to survive, hearing voices that lie. The message is simple but heavy: open up your eyes because God is on your side. He’s not here to judge you, He doesn’t give up on you, and you can’t give up on you. If you’re in that dark corner, I need you to hear me: life turns around. You never know what’s around the corner, so don’t give up—there’s hope.
