Based on the principle of "never trust, always verify," it ensures that no user, device, or application is granted access without strict identity verification and continuous monitoring. This model enforces least privilege access, micro-segmentation, and real-time threat detection—making it ideal for securing cloud systems, remote workforces, and hybrid environments. Learn how Zero Trust helps protect organizations from modern cyber threats and builds a stronger, more resilient security framework. About This Video

In this video I explain Zero Trust Security Architecture (ZTSA) in a simple way—“never trust, always verify.” Traditional security often assumes anything inside the firewall is safe, but I don’t agree with that mindset anymore because threats can come from both inside and outside the network. So in Zero Trust, no user, device, or application is trusted by default, and every access request must be verified before permission is granted. Then I break down the core principles: verify explicitly (authenticate and authorize using factors like identity, device status, location, and behavior), least privilege access (give only the minimum access needed), and assume breach (work as if compromise already happened, so you continuously monitor and assess risk). I also cover the key components like Identity and Access Management with strong authentication (MFA), device security checks, micro-segmentation to isolate network sections, continuous monitoring to detect anomalies, encryption for data at rest and in transit, and policy-based access control using dynamic rules. Finally, I explain why Zero Trust is needed today—remote work and BYOD, cloud/SaaS adoption, and rising ransomware, phishing, and insider threats—plus the benefits like reduced attack surface, better visibility, and improved compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
