In this video I explain how AI is changing data centers forever, and why it’s becoming mandatory as cloud computing, IoT, big data, and edge computing keep pushing data demand higher and higher. From my experience in networking and infrastructure, the big problem today is complexity—performance, cost, and uptime all have to be managed together. Then energy optimization is a major point: AI can tune cooling, airflow, and workloads based on temperature, humidity, and power draw (Google’s DeepMind example shows how big the savings can be). Finally, I discuss AI-driven security for anomaly detection, capacity planning/forecasting to avoid overprovisioning, and smarter operations for edge and hybrid environments.
