Do you want to know how to take notes? In this video I’m literally showing you how I take mine, step-by-step, because I kept getting comments asking what I use during school and how I make my notes look simple but still aesthetic. I explain my two main ways of taking notes: on paper (classic) and on a device like a tablet. I also show the stationery I actually use—my lined paper, my brush pen for titles, my Zebra Sarasa pens (I love how dark the ink looks), and my Zebra highlighters (blue + pink) for the important parts my teacher repeats a lot. For paper notes, I show how I do my titles (theme on top, last word with brush so it looks better) and how I highlight/circle key words so it’s easier to reread. I’m being honest too: if I don’t like my handwriting, I won’t want to read it back, so making it look a little more organized really helps me study. Then I switch to digital notes with my Huion Kamvas Slate 11 tablet. I keep my to-do list and study apps on it (including a cute Pomodoro app), and I love that I can import school documents and write directly on them when I’m exhausted and don’t want to rewrite everything on paper. I also unbox my Kiiboom Phantom81 Lite keyboard and show how I switch between typing and using the pencil depending on what I’m doing.
