Hello to you all — in this video I’m sharing a proper little yarn haul, with a few different projects in mind and a couple of bargains too. I show you what I picked up from The little wool shop, and chat through why I chose each lot, because I like my yarn purchases to have a plan (even if the basket sometimes gets a bit excited!). It’s a cosy catch-up style vlog, so it’s very much me nattering while I go through what’s coming into the stash. The main reason for this haul is yarn for The Fairy House mosaic blanket, so I talk about choosing yarn that will work well for mosaic crochet and give me a nice crisp look. I’ve also bought yarn to make a donkey for our neighbour, which is such a sweet make and a lovely reminder that crochet gifts don’t have to be huge to be special. And then there’s a top-up on sale for my Battenberg blanket — because if you’re mid-blanket and you spot the right yarn on offer, you grab it!
