SOCIAL DISTANCING on our boat [Nordhavn 43]

Hello & Happy Sunday! We hope you're all staying healthy and most of all happy during these hard times we're all experiencing. It's easy to think of the bad, but maybe let's try to think of the positive??? Can't hurt! In an effort to distance ourselves from the close knit live aboard community at Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle, we've decided it's best for us to travel north to the San Juan Islands to find quiet anchorages to go about our life for the foreseeable future, or until the Coronavirus calms down enough where it's less stressful to be in a big city. With 300 gallons of water, a water maker, a generator, good dry and cold food storage, and what we HOPE is good internet, we're feeling pretty good about having our home on the water for an extended period of time. PLEASE NOTE: the filming of this video what prior to the 3.25.20 closure of WA State public parks, including English Camp on San Juan Island. Citizens can, however, continue to use park trails as hiking grounds to exercise and stay active and healthy while under a state order to quarantine at home (or our boat as that's home). We respect these guidelines and are acting responsibly to avoid other people by remaining on our vessel 95% of the time.
