NEW Rocna 55kg anchor installation & chain re-painting on our Nordhavn 43 trawler!

After being anchored in place for 36 hours, we are now set to get FREEDOM back on the water! After several months spent mostly at anchor, we decided it was time to bite the bullet and invest in a new Rocna 55kg anchor. We have heard nothing but good reviews, and know several other boaters with this model who swear by its reliability and consistency holding bottom in all types of anchorages. The installation was the easy part, but the re-painting of the anchor chain depth markers was the hardest of the project. Overall not too difficult, but time consuming watching the paint dry.
