Cruising South Puget Sound to Jarrell Cove, WA [NORDHAVN 43]

Welcome aboard MV FREEDOM!!! We're thrilled to FINALLY be cruising the waters of the South Puget Sound region in western Washington State! After years of cruising north into the North Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and British Columbia, Canada, we figured we'd try something new and explore the many coves, inlets, passages and anchorage destinations that litter the South Puget Sound Region. After reading up in the 2020 Waggoner Guide, we decided that our first stop would be Jarrell Cove located at the north end of Harstine Island. This is located in Pickering Passage west of Case Inlet. Surrounded by lush Pacific Northwest forests and 3,500 feet of shoreline to explore by foot or by dinghy, as well as having fuel, pump out and marina store amenities, Jarrell Cove makes for a perfect long weekend getaway at anchor.
