The Democratic Party’s big tent was on full display Tuesday as Democratic Socialists racked up major wins in New York City, and a centrist candidate in Utah defeated several progressives. Republicans, however, wasted no time trying to cast those New York races as the face of the entire Democratic Party, responding with increasingly over-the-top lies and fear mongering.
