* This video is made for 13 and over. The Oaxacan carvers call their art Alebrijes which are whimsical creations depicting animals, people, objects, and imaginary creatures painted with intense colors and intricate patterns. Although these distinctive cultural artifacts are often assumed to represent a long established, tradition of Mexican folk art, they only began to appear in the 1940s. Mr. Smith creates a drawing based on a picture of coyote alebrije which he placed into a southwestern landscape sunset. He uses basic shapes to create his drawing then adding his color blending and patterned colors. Mr.Smith uses his one-stroke/two stroke coloring method to get the most color out of his markers. ***Don’t forget to like, click the bell to be notified of new videos & subscribe to the channel*** Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/mrsmithsartroom4kids/ Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/Mrsmithsartroo1 #mrsmithsartroom4kids
