I used this 19.6" ceiling fan with the integrated light kit to get away from that old brass look and go with a slick black-and-wood style. The receiver is built in and the mount sits flush, so the install is straightforward as long as you don’t pinch wires in the bracket. Just know the included filament bulbs are warm, and you’ll want a regular two-pole switch if you’re running into weird switch issues.
