It makes for a crispier slaw that holds up to time in the fridge. 2. Chop the cabbage, DO NOT shred. The chopped cabbage gives you an amazing texture that isn't stringy. 3. Mix a little sour cream into your homemade coleslaw dressing, it cuts the mayo perfectly. 4. Add lemon juice, not just vinegar to the dressing. It is so bright and fresh, yet still creamy like coleslaw should be!
