In this vlog I’m taking you with me on a really cosy family staycation at Pennyhill Park in Surrey, and honestly it’s the kind of reset I love as a London suburb mum. I start with a proper room tour (because you know I’m nosy about the little details), then we head straight into pool time which was such a treat. It’s very much that slow, wholesome pace—swimming, warming up, and just enjoying being away without needing to do loads. I also share getting ready for dinner and what we ate at Hillfield Restaurant, then we head back to the room and do desserts via room service (my favourite kind of ending to a day). The next morning is rainy, so I have a little chit chat about how the trip’s been so far, and we still get out for a walk around the grounds when it eases up. We squeeze in more pool time, get ready for dinner night two, and finish with breakfast on our last day—just a really relaxing, family-friendly staycation with all the cosy bits: food, swims, walks, and a lovely room to come back to.
