Yo what’s up guys— in this video I’m showing you how I mixed a vocal to get that smooth, professional Rema “Ozeba” vibe in FL Studio, and I’m also giving you the FLP template + the preset. I start by letting you hear the raw vocal (no processing) so you can understand why we need each step, then I take you straight into my mixer channel and break down the exact chain I used. First, I clean the vocal with a Noise Gate inside Fruity Limiter to remove room noise. Then I add Auto-Tune in E minor, but I back off the effect by setting the retune speed to 30 because this is more rap/sing and I don’t want it sounding too robotic. After that, I EQ with Pro-Q2 (high-pass around 103Hz and cut mud around 247Hz), control low-mids with Pro-MB (targeting around 108Hz and 510Hz), and compress with Pro-C2 (about 6dB gain reduction). I add Waves P-EQ to cut around 100Hz and boost 16kHz for that top-end presence, then RVox for quick extra control, plus a de-esser to tame sibilance. Finally, I set up sends: a Doubler for width, Valhalla VintageVerb with BPM-based decay/pre-delay and an 8kHz high cut, and a tempo delay with filtering and sidechain ducking. And remember—presets are a starting point, so always tweak it to fit your own vocal.
