In this Behind the Brand episode, I’m bringing you with me as God opens a door I couldn’t have planned if I tried. After Pilates, I ended up connecting with the GM at Prayers and Pilates and pitched my Made by the Word journal as a retail partner. What started as a simple conversation turned into something deeper—because I made it clear I didn’t want it to be transactional. I wanted relationship, sisterhood in Christ, and a mutually beneficial connection where we can grow and elevate together. I share the full “God-ordained” timeline—how months earlier I had the urge to reach out but didn’t feel ready (no LinkedIn, limited business presence), and then God aligned the exact day and timing for me to meet the right person. From there, it led to the owner, Erica, inviting me to lead an in-person Bible study—my first one ever. I talk through the nerves, the obedience, and the faith it takes to show up when it’s unfamiliar, while still preparing with excellence (notes, prayer, worship, business cards, and bringing a full box of journals). My biggest takeaway: when God says move, I’m not asking “how.” I’m walking in obedience—and trusting divine acceleration to do what only He can do.
