Fujifilm GFX 50SII
The Fujifilm GFX 50S II is one of my favorite tools because it’s built around the Sony IMX 161 sensor—my favorite sensor I’ve ever used. The files respond beautifully to the way I edit, and the big reason I chose the 50S II over the original 50S is IBIS, since the image output is essentially identical.
Pros
- +Sony IMX 161 sensor has beautiful tonal response for editing
- +IBIS is a major real-world upgrade over the original 50S
- +44x33mm sensor is noticeably larger than full frame
Cons
- -Contrast-detect autofocus only
- -Not the fastest or most modern AF system
