All-Women's Trip to the Mount Kilimanjaro Summit

Thanks for watching this video about an all-women’s trip up Mt Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route. Mt Kilimanjaro is the highest freestanding mountain in the world. It is a whopping 19,341 feet high! The ONLY way to climb Mt Kilimanjaro is with a guided team. I went with WHOA Travel - a women-powered adventure travel group. They have a strong focus on sustainable travel - teaming up with locally-run organizations and lodging that have a focus on empowering women. There were several women guides and porters on our team - which was an incredible experience. Our group of 16 had women from 4 different countries ranging in abilities.
