Zen Can Signature 6XX

This is the more compelling piece of the collab for me. The HD6XX EQ button actually does what it claims—countering the 600-series bass roll-off and giving surprisingly usable sub-bass extension without the distortion I usually expect. It’s not the cleanest or most detailed amp at $249, but the feature set, size, and look will be worth it for the right desk setup.

Pros

  • +HD6XX bass EQ works well and adds sub-bass extension with minimal distortion
  • +3D mode is subtle but can help the 6XX feel less claustrophobic
  • +Compact, runs relatively cool, and looks great on a desk
  • +Balanced 4.4mm output option

Cons

  • -Not class-leading sound quality for the price (a bit hazy/glarey vs competitors like Asgard 3)
  • -No XLR headphone output; many users will need adapters
  • -Buttons on my early sample felt cheap/inconsistent
