The 64 Audio Tiá Trio is a hybrid IEM I tested to see if it could deliver the dynamic driver bass I wanted while keeping a high-end, resolving presentation. It absolutely brings big bass and strong imaging, but the midrange dips (around 1 kHz and 4–5 kHz) make the tuning less of my thing compared to the U12t.

Pros

  • +Big sub-bass shelf with satisfying dynamic driver slam
  • +Strong imaging and good perceived stage
  • +Very detailed and resolving overall
  • +Comfortable shell for long listening (for me)

Cons

  • -Midrange tuning dips (1 kHz and 4–5 kHz) can sound off
  • -Detail level doesn’t feel fully in line with the $2,300 price to me
  • -No Apex modules on this model
  • -Stock cable and included case are disappointing for the price
