The Hifiman Sundara is the obvious alternative I kept coming back to in this video. If you’re shopping in this price range, I’d buy the Sundara over the Avantone basically every time because it’s just a better, safer all-around pick.

- +More sensible choice than the Planar Red for most people
Cons
- -If you specifically want an ultra-narrow stage, the Sundara won’t give you that niche effect
