The NF Audio NM2+ is a $170 dynamic driver IEM with a nice CNC metal build and a legitimately solid stock cable. Unfortunately, the tuning and technical performance don’t hold up for me—busy tracks get muddy fast, with clouded treble, weak imaging, and surprisingly bad timbre.

- +Nice 5-axis CNC metal build that feels above the price
- +Solid stock cable with QDC-style 2-pin connectors
- +Decent presentation and included case/tips
Cons
- -Gets very muddy on complex tracks with poor separation
- -Bothersome peaks around ~5 kHz and ~8–9 kHz
- -Comfort and seal were difficult for my ears
- -Imaging and timbre were not good for the price
