The Moondrop Illumination is a single dynamic flagship that really impressed me with its timbre—some of the most natural I’ve heard in an IEM, especially on strings and midrange content. The tuning is generally agreeable, but the bass is the big blemish: it’s low-res and smears on complex bass tracks, which makes it a niche recommendation depending on your music.
