The Hifiman Deva is a $299 open-back planar that can run wired or with Hifiman’s clip-on Bluetooth/USB module. I like the comfort and the fact that it actually swivels, but the sound has bass roll-off and a midrange that’s uneven and just kind of “off,” so it’s a niche buy unless you specifically want open-back planar Bluetooth.

Pros

  • +Can run wired, Bluetooth, or as a USB headphone
  • +No noticeable hiss from the Bluetooth amp
  • +Comfortable fit with a well-padded headband
  • +Metal yokes and cup swivel help fit and comfort

Cons

  • -Bass rolls off around ~60Hz and lacks punch
  • -Midrange sounds uneven/thin and “funky”
  • -Bluetooth module looks awkward hanging off the cup
  • -Wired use is relatively hard to drive (needs current)
