Part 2 of the L.A. Goat Bike range test is basically me trying to not get deleted by elevation. I’m out in Hollywood doing what I call the “Death Climb” on a Goat-style setup, pushing real-world range while the road just keeps tilting up. This isn’t a spreadsheet ride—this is stop-and-go city chaos, steep grades, and the kind of terrain that exposes weak tuning, overheating, and optimistic battery claims fast. I’m focused on what actually matters if you ride these high-speed eBikes like I do: how the bike holds speed on climbs, how quickly the battery drops when you’re not babying it, and whether the setup still feels worth it when the terrain gets rude.
