Day 16: Orea V4 Narrow Brewing a Washed Kenya (Coffee Collective) | Advent Calendar 2025

Day 16 of the Coffee Advent Calendar 2025! ☕ Today I’m brewing a washed Kenyan coffee from Coffee Collective using the Orea V4 Narrow and the Melodrip. The goal is to reduce agitation in the second part of the brew, limiting turbulence when extraction can easily lead to bitterness and astringency. Using the Melodrip allows for a shorter contact time while still achieving a balanced, clean, and controlled cup.
