Day 12: Orea Z1 Brewing a Washed Kenya Coffee (Pala) | Advent Calendar 2025

Day 12 of the Coffee Advent Calendar 2025! ☕ Today I’m brewing a washed Kenyan coffee from Pala Coffee using the Orea Z1 and sharing a new approach I’ve been using with Kenya and this dripper: the “zero bypass, bypass method.” I brew a slightly more intense cup first, then add water afterward to reduce strength and create a smoother, more balanced result. In this video I explain how to adjust variables so anyone can shape the cup to their own taste.
