Unfortunately, Canva has officially sunsetted their main affiliate program. They were paying commissions until January 31st, 2024, but that’s all come to an end. When I was part of the affiliate program, the commission rates were around 20 to 30% for memberships when someone signed up through my link. Now, Canva has shifted gears and introduced what they call the Content Creator Program. You can apply to become a “Canva” through this program. They’ve got a specific community initiative, which you can check out by following the link I’ll drop in the video description. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but it leads you to all the details you need. The program has specific requirements, and you’ll need to embody the Canva values. These values include being a force for good, empowering others, and making complex things simple. They’re looking for independent creators rather than brands or agencies, and you’ll need to have an active and engaged social media following. As I’m recording this, the application for the program is currently closed. However, I expect it will reopen soon, so keep an eye out for that. The affiliate program has transitioned into what they now call the Canva program, and it’s a bit different from what it used to be. I’m not entirely sure if they’re still offering commissions or if they’re doing monthly payouts like before. I’ll leave the link to the program in the description, so you can easily find it. It’s unfortunate that the affiliate program is closed as of early 2026, but there’s always a chance it could open up again soon.
