First off, let’s get right into it. I’m on the main Letterboxd page now, and there are a few different ways to share review links for films on the site. I’ll start by showing you how to do this from your profile. To begin, hover over your profile details at the top of the page and click on “Profile.” From there, you can see all of your recent reviews by clicking on the “Reviews” tab. For this example, I’ll be sharing a recent review I did for the film "Elevator to the Gallows" from 1958. Once I’m on my profile, I’ll click on the review I want to share. This takes me to the review page for that particular film. It’s important to note that this is the review page, not the film page. Here, you can see the review I wrote, and you also have options to edit or delete it if needed. Now, to share the review, look for the share button at the bottom of the page. When you click it, you’ll see a shortened link that you can copy. Just click the clipboard icon that says “link copied to clipboard.” To show you how it works, I’ll open a new tab and paste the link. Just like that, I have a direct link to my review page! You can share this link anywhere you like, whether it’s on social media, in a newsletter, or even in a WhatsApp group. But there’s more! If you hover over the share button again, you’ll see options to share directly to Twitter, now known as X, or Facebook. This makes it super easy to get your review out there. For instance, if I click on the Twitter option, it pulls up my review automatically. You can edit the text and add your own caption if you want. Plus, it includes a graphic of your rating, which is a nice touch. This feature is built into Letterboxd’s backend, making sharing really convenient. Remember, you can share your own reviews as well as others’. If I click on a review from another user, like Edgar’s review of "Elevator to the Gallows," I can share that too using the same method.
