Today, I’m going to show you how to see your most watched genres on Letterbox. First, head over to letterbox.com and hover over your username and picture at the top. Click on "Profile" to access your account. Just a heads up, to use this feature, you need to be a Patreon or pro member of Letterbox. It’s a reasonable yearly fee, and I've been a member for a while now. Once you’re on your profile, click on the "Stats" page. By default, it will show your all-time stats. You can also use the dropdown menu to select a specific year. Just remember, the years listed are when you watched the films, not when they were released. So, you can look back at any year you logged films. As you scroll down, you’ll see your highest rated decades and other stats. But what we’re really interested in is the section below that, where you can find genres, countries, and languages. This gives you a complete overview of the genres you’ve logged on Letterbox. For instance, I have 248 drama films and 1,269 comedies. It’s a neat feature to see your viewing habits. You can also check out the most watched countries and languages. It’s no surprise that, as an Englishman, my top films are in English. I was a bit surprised by my French and Japanese film counts though. You can also click to see the highest-rated genres, countries, and languages based on the average ratings of the films you’ve watched. Scrolling down a bit more, you’ll find themes and nano genres. This is a unique feature from Letterbox that breaks down films into more specific categories. You can click on any of these to see a list of films you’ve watched and reviewed within those themes. As a bonus, if you scroll all the way down, you can see your most watched cast members and directors. It’s a fun way to track your favorite actors and filmmakers. If you’re curious about what you watched most last year, you can do that too. Just remember, it’s based on the films you watched in that year, not their release dates. For example, I watched 272 drama films in 2025, which shows how popular that genre is for me. Finally, let’s go back to the all-time stats to wrap this up.
