In this quick video, I’m going to show you how to find your most watched director on Letterboxd. First, let’s head over to Letterboxd.com, which is the main site for tracking the films you’ve watched. Once you’re on the site, look for your profile picture and name at the top. Click on that to open your profile. This is where you can see all the films you’ve logged, reviewed, and much more. One of the cool features of Letterboxd is that it allows you to track how many films you’ve watched by specific directors, actors, and writers. Now, if you want to access the stats, you’ll need a paid account. I’m a Patreon member, but you can also be a pro member to unlock this feature. So, go ahead and click on the “Stats” option located at the edge of your profile. This will bring up your overall stats by default, showing you a lifetime overview of everything you’ve tracked on Letterboxd. If you want to narrow it down to a specific year, you can use the dropdown menu to select the year you’re interested in. Just remember, this refers to the years you’ve been tracking your films, not the release years of the films themselves. By default, you’ll see your all-time stats. As you scroll down, you’ll find a variety of statistics, including your list progress. Keep scrolling until you reach the section for directors. Here, you’ll see a list of your ten most watched directors, ranging from Woody Allen to Clint Eastwood, and many others. If you want to see more directors, just click on “show more,” and you can keep scrolling to discover which directors you’ve watched the most. You can also check out which directors you’ve rated the highest by clicking on the relevant option. This feature is pretty neat and gives you a good insight into your viewing habits. Once you find a director you’re interested in, you can click on their name to see all the films you’ve watched from them, along with your reviews. I hope you found this video helpful!
