I'm starting off in an untitled document with some placeholder text. But we're going to create some new text and make it rotate. First, we need to go to the top of the page and click on "Insert." Once you do that, scroll down until you find the "Drawing" option. This feature is often overlooked in Google Docs, but it’s super useful. Hover over "Drawing" and click on "New." This will open up a canvas where we can work. Now, we want to add some text, so we’ll click on the text box icon, which looks like two T's, a big one and a small one. You can place this text box anywhere on the canvas, so I’ll put it roughly in the middle. Let’s type "rotate" in there. I know, very original! Next, I’ll highlight the text and make it bigger. I usually go for a font size of 60 for visibility. You can also drag the handle to adjust the size further. Feel free to customize your text however you like. You can change the font, make it bold or italic, and even change the color if you want to get creative. Now, to actually rotate the text, highlight it again. You’ll see some handles appear, and one of them looks like a clock face. You can click and drag this handle to rotate your text to any angle you want. Whether you want it at 90 degrees or a slant at 45 degrees, it’s all up to you. Once you're satisfied with the rotation, just click "Save and Close." Your rotated text will now be added to the document. It’s almost like inserting an image. If you need to make changes later, like fixing a typo or changing the color, you can easily edit it anytime. You can repeat this process as many times as you want throughout your document. I hope you found this video on how to rotate text in Google Docs helpful.
