I'm Matt, and today I'm going to show you how to rotate an image in Google Docs. It’s super simple, so let’s dive right in. First, I’ve got an untitled document open with some placeholder text and an image that we’ll work with. To start rotating the image, just click on the center of it. Once you do that, look up at the top of the image, and you’ll see a little circle. Click and hold that circle, and you can rotate the image in any direction you want. If you want to make a slight adjustment, just move your mouse, and you’ll see the image rotate accordingly. If you go too far, no worries! You can always hit undo to go back to the original position. Now, if you want to explore another method for rotating the image, keep the image highlighted and click on the three dots that appear for image options. This will bring up a panel where you can adjust the size and rotation of the image. In this panel, you can change the dimensions of the image by adjusting the width and height. There’s also an option to lock the aspect ratio, which is handy if you want to maintain the image’s proportions while resizing it. When it comes to rotation, you have a couple of options. You can rotate the image by a full 90 degrees if you want it straightened out. Just click the rotation option, and you’ll see the image change right in front of you. But if you’re looking for more precise adjustments, you can also rotate it by smaller increments, like 15 degrees. There’s a little slider you can use to fine-tune the angle. As you adjust it, you’ll see the image update in real-time on the page. So, whether you want to rotate it a little or a lot, there are plenty of ways to do it in Google Docs. I hope you found this video helpful! If you did, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing for more tips like this.
