I’m right here on my LinkedIn profile, ready to guide you through the process. There are a couple of ways to post an article, but I’ll focus on the quickest method. First, you’ll want to navigate to the home option at the top of your LinkedIn page. Once you’re on your homepage, you’ll see options like “start a post,” which is just for standard posts, not articles. To write an article, you need to click on the “write article” option, which opens a new window for you. In this new window, you can add cover images or videos at the top of your article. If you have any media on your computer, just drag and drop it in or upload it directly. You’ll also want to create a catchy title for your article, and then you can start adding your body content. Now, let’s talk about formatting options. At the top of the article editor, you’ll find tools for bolding and italicizing text. You can format your body text however you like. You can also use headings and subheadings to break up your content, which is essential for long-form articles. As you work, remember that you can insert images or videos at any point. Hyperlinks are also a great addition; you can link to other content directly within your article. The editor provides various style options, including dividers and code blocks, which can help make your article visually appealing. If you want to emphasize a quote, you can use the block quote feature, which gives it a nice styled effect. Bullet points and numbered lists are also available to help organize your information clearly. Once you’re satisfied with how your article looks, you can manage your posts from this window as well. If you’ve written your article in Google Docs or another platform, you can easily copy and paste it into the LinkedIn editor, and it should retain most of its formatting. If it doesn’t, you might need to tweak it a bit. When everything looks good, just click “next” to publish your article on LinkedIn.
