First things first, you need to be logged into your Audible account through your Amazon account. I’m currently on audible.co.uk in the UK, and there are plenty of ways to explore the site. You can start by checking out the categories available. There are sections for bestsellers, new releases, and even recommendations. As you scroll down, you’ll find various categories like “Best First Listens” and themed showcases, such as the Harry Potter collection. If you click into these categories, you can easily browse through different Audible books. If you want to see what you already have, you can check your library. Just a heads up, mine’s empty right now! You can also filter and sort the lists to find what you’re looking for. If you see something you like, you can either add it to your cart or wish list, or click on the item for more details. Now, if you're looking for something specific, you can use the search bar in the top right corner. For example, I’m going to search for the Ron Chernow biography of Alexander Hamilton. Once you find the book you want, you can open it to see more details. At this point, if you have a credit available, you can use it to buy the book. You typically get one credit per month with Audible. To make the purchase, click on the option to buy now or add it to your cart. I’m going to use my credit for this book, so I’ll click on that option and then confirm my purchase. And just like that, I’ve successfully bought the Audible version of the book! I actually have the physical paperback version too, and it’s great to have both formats. This particular book is quite lengthy, running for about 35 hours and 58 minutes, so it’s definitely a big one. You can listen to your Audible books on various devices, including your Mac, PC, or even through Amazon Alexa. It’s super convenient to listen while you work or do other tasks.
