Today, I’m going to show you how to add an emoji in Google Docs. I’m starting in an untitled document with some placeholder text just to illustrate the process. First off, if you want to insert an emoji, it’s super simple. Just head up to the top of your document and click on "Insert" in the toolbar. From there, hover over "Symbols." You’ll see a smiley face icon, and when you click on it, you’ll have the option to add emojis, equations, or special characters. Go ahead and click on "Emoji," and you’ll see a whole array of emojis to choose from, including all the classic smiley faces. You can also find emojis for various themes, like buildings, cars, and even trophies. For example, I’m going to insert a basketball emoji. You can place any emoji you like anywhere in your document, whether it’s at the end of a sentence or in the middle of a paragraph. Now, if you’re using a Mac, there’s another quick way to insert emojis. You can use a keyboard shortcut by holding down the Control, Command, and Spacebar keys at the same time. This will bring up a universal emoji menu. The selection here might differ slightly from what you see in Google Docs, but it’s still very handy. For instance, if you want to add a specific character, you can easily do that from this menu. Once you insert an emoji, it will remain in your document, and if you decide to save it as a PDF or share it with someone, they’ll be able to see the emojis too. So, whether you’re using the built-in Google Docs method or the Mac shortcut, adding emojis is straightforward and fun. That wraps up this quick tutorial on how to add emojis in Google Docs. I hope you found it useful! If you did, please give this video a like—it really helps out. And don’t forget to subscribe for more helpful tips and tricks!
