Right now, I'm on the homepage of my Firefox browser, and you can see I have light mode active. The search bar is white, and everything looks bright and cheery. But if you’re like me and prefer a darker interface, stick around because I’ll show you how to switch to dark mode. First, let’s access the settings. At the top of the browser, click on "Firefox," which is located just to the left of the "File" menu. From there, you’ll want to select "Preferences." This will open up the general preferences page, which, as you can see, is currently in light mode. Now, we need to scroll down to the "Language and Appearance" section. This is where you can customize how websites look based on your preferences. Right now, light mode is selected, but we’re here to switch things up. So, let’s click on "Dark" to activate dark mode. Just like that, you’ll notice the settings page immediately changes to dark mode. It’s super quick! If you ever want to switch back to light mode, you can easily do that too. There’s also an option for automatic mode, which adjusts based on your system settings. Now, let’s open a new tab to see how dark mode looks in action. You’ll see that the background of the Google search bar is now dark, which is a nice change from the previous light background. Even the icons and the top bar have switched to dark, creating a more cohesive look. Keep in mind that not every single webpage will automatically switch to dark mode, but many will adapt to this new setting. So, that's how you enable dark mode on Firefox through the language and appearance settings. I hope you found this tutorial helpful!
