In this quick video, I'm going to show you how to download Node.js. First, you want to head over to the Node.js official download page at nodejs.org/download. I’ll drop that link in the description below, so you can easily click on it without having to search around their site. Once you're on the download page, it automatically detects your operating system. In my case, it recognized that I'm using macOS. You'll see options for different versions, including Windows, Linux, and AIX, along with the macOS version I mentioned. You can also specify which IDE you plan to use, and that will adjust the options available for you. There are a couple of ways to install Node.js. If you're comfortable with the terminal, you can install it directly from there. Alternatively, you can download a standalone binary or use the installer. Since I'm on macOS, I’ll be using the macOS installer. To get the installer, just click on the green button that corresponds to your system. For macOS, it will download a PKG file. After the download, you’ll want to navigate to your Downloads folder to find the installer. If you prefer a quicker method, you can also copy the installation command to your clipboard and paste it directly into your terminal. This is handy if you’re using an IDE like VS Code or another terminal emulator. Once the installer is downloaded, you can open it from your Downloads folder and follow the prompts to complete the installation. Depending on your browser settings, the download location might vary, but it should typically be in your Downloads folder. I hope you found this video helpful in learning how to download Node.js. If you did, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing for more content like this. Thanks for watching!
