You can find it at anaconda.com/download, and I’ll drop that link in the description below. Just click on it, and you’ll land on the download page. Once you're on the page, you’ll see a button that says "Get Started." Click that, and you'll need to sign up to use Anaconda. You can sign up using your Google account, Microsoft account, GitHub, or even with your email. I’m going to use GitHub for this demo. Just click on GitHub, and it will automatically sign you in after you authorize it. After signing in, you’ll be redirected to a new page where you’ll need to verify your email. I usually resend the verification email just to make sure it comes through. I’ll check my email now and pause the video for a moment. Alright, I’ve verified my email, and now we’re welcomed to Anaconda! The site recognizes that I’m on a Mac, which is correct. If you’re on Windows, you’ll want to select the 64-bit version, and there’s also a Linux version available if that’s what you’re using. For Mac users, you can choose between the main Anaconda distribution or the Miniconda version. They offer options for Intel chips and Apple Silicon, which is what I’m using. Now, we have two choices for installation: the command line installer or the graphical installer. I recommend going with the graphical installer; it’s more user-friendly. Once you click on the graphical installer, it will start downloading automatically to your designated downloads folder, based on your browser settings. Since I’m using Google Chrome on my Mac, it goes straight to my downloads folder. After the download, you’ll see a thank you message, and from there, you can create a free account if you want. And that wraps up this video on how to download Anaconda, the Python distribution. I hope you found it helpful! If you did, please give it a like and subscribe for more videos like this.
