In this quick video, I'm going to show you how to calculate calories burned online using a specific website. I usually go to caloriecalculator.net/caloriesburn.html, and I’ll drop the link in the description below for you to check it out. Once you’re on the site, you’ll see two calculators: the main calories burned calculator and another for calories burned by distance. I’ll walk you through both of them. First up, let’s look at the main calculator. You can select your activity level, which is crucial because it affects the results you get. The options include walking, running, cycling, swimming, and even various gym activities. For this example, I’m going to choose gym activities, specifically weightlifting general. There are tons of options available, like vigorous weightlifting, yoga, circuit training, and more. Just remember, different activities will yield different results. Next, you’ll need to input your duration. Let’s say you worked out for 50 minutes. You can enter the time in hours and minutes. Then, you’ll also need to input your body weight, either in pounds or kilograms. For this example, I’ll use 90 kg. After you’ve filled in those details, just hit calculate. The calculator will then give you an estimate of how many calories you burned during that activity. For 50 minutes of weightlifting, it estimates around 225 calories burned. Keep in mind, this is just a rough estimate and can vary based on your body weight, the duration, and the specific activity you selected. If you want to calculate calories burned by distance, you can use the second calculator on the site. You can choose activities like walking, running, or cycling. For example, if you're running, you can set your pace. The default is 4 km/h, but you can adjust that if needed. Let’s say you ran 10 km at that pace. You can also input your weight in pounds. For this example, I’ll use 200 pounds. After clicking calculate, the results will show that running at that speed for 10 km will burn about 531 calories and take around 2 hours and 30 minutes. This tool is really handy for personal use or for clients if you're in the fitness industry. I highly recommend bookmarking this site since it’s accessible from any device—phone, tablet, or desktop. Plus, it’s ad-free, which makes it easy to navigate. If you found this video helpful, please give it a like and subscribe for more content like this!
