My main computer is the 2023 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Max, and it’s the most expensive acquisition in the whole setup. I upgraded from a 2019 16-inch base model and the performance difference is massive, especially for photo and video editing. I also wanted something future-proof, even if it’s more power than I strictly need today.
